The best gift: a new battery
If their battery health is below 80%, a new battery from Apple costs $89 for their iPhone 13 and makes the biggest difference of anything here. You can't wrap it, but you can offer to book the appointment.

For a battery that's in the 80s and fading by evening. It snaps on the back and tops the phone up.
Look for: “Qi2” or MagSafe on the listing, and check it names their model.

Look for: a raised edge around the screen and camera; tempered glass with an alignment frame.
